Our founder and managing director Luke Robinson is an experienced financial/wealth planner with over 15 years of experience within the financial services industry. Luke is the primary adviser within the Practice, on the ‘frontline’, advising our clients every day.
Luke began his career in retail banking, working as a financial adviser and wealth planner for both HSBC and Lloyds Banking Group. Early on, he recognised the limitations of the traditional, sales-driven approach often found in larger institutions. “I became increasingly frustrated with the transactional nature of financial planning. I believe trust is the cornerstone of any successful adviser-client relationship, and that takes time to build.”
Driven by a desire to offer a more personal and client-focused service, Luke founded Robinson Financial Planning in 2018. His mission was to establish lasting, meaningful relationships with clients by dedicating the time and attention they deserve. “Now, I can focus entirely on my clients’ needs, offering consistent support and building long-term, trusted partnerships.”
Luke is well-versed in all areas of financial planning. He also holds specialist knowledge of the NHS pension scheme.
Outside of work, Luke enjoys family life with his wife, Claire, and their two daughters.
